The Solano College SBDC is one of over 1,000 SBDCs, nationwide, set up through the Association of Small Business Development Centers, to assist small business owners
and managers. We offer Solano County business owners and residents:
  • Affordable and Free Small Business Assistance
  • 12 Short Courses Offered Through Solano Community College
  • Workshops Presented at Convenient Locations Throughout the County
  • 10-Week Small Business Training Program
  • Small Business Resource Library
  • Free Counseling, Advice and Mentoring Provided Through a Network of Professional Business Consultants

Our territory includes potential, start-up and existing small businesses in Solano County. Funding to support the SBDC is provided through the US Small Business Administration (SBA)on the federal level, California Community Colleges Workforce Development Program on the state level, and from various cities and private partners on the local level.

Are you starting a new business or new to business ownership? If so, we can help! Please stop by the SBDC and pick up a free BUSINESS START-UP KIT.
Or, at your request, for a nominal fee of $3, we can mail one to you.

If you have an existing business, we encourage you to give us a call to discuss any needs
we may be able to assist you with.  The SBDC offers a free
BUSINESS START-UP KIT. 
Also, free ONE-ON-ONE COUNSELING appointments are provided through a network of professional business consultants.

Entrepreneurs requiring help with an active business are encouraged to complete our online REQUEST FOR SERVICES form. To be eligible for services, please complete this form as thoroughly as possible. After we review your request, one of our professional consultants will contact you to discuss what type of assistance you require.  Due to capacity constraints, please allow up to one week for a response.
